In an announcement this past Wednesday, the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Nikolai Fyodorov said that Russia is ready to increase imports of agrarian products from Morocco. ITAR-TASS news agency also reported that the head of the agricultural department said that "Russian-Moroccan trade is on the rise, as illustrated by a turnover in agricultural products".
During the last meeting between the Head of Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), Sergei Dankvert, and the Tunisia's Ambassador to Russia, Ali Guta. Guta showed interest, as a representative of the country, in increasing olive oil, fruits, vegetables and exports of other products to the Russian market.
