The analysis also indicates the popularity of frozen vegetables and mushrooms, the share of which the average total amount of sales during this period amounted to 49.1 percent. The share of potatoes was an average increase of 28.5 percent, fruits and berries – 22.4 percent. The highest product turnover during the these five years was in retail trade. The average was 60.1 percent. Industrial processing had 14.4 percent and the rest accounted for 25.5 percent in the HoReCa sector.
The analysts at BusinesStat predict that sales will grow in the future by about 1.3 – 3.2 percent annually. This demand will shift toward cheaper frozen food products and away from more expensive options.
