The agreement was signed within a framework that was organized by the newspaper Kommersant at a press conference, which headed off the second “Grand Festival of Morocco”, the beginning of which was November 6 and will continue until November 20 in Moscow.
The goal of the festival is to introduce Moroccan products to the Russian market, Maafiri said.
Perekrestok's Commercial Director Yuri Lyavanau said: “Perekrestok offers visitors of a rare opportunity to acquaint themselves with an assortment of Moroccan products and gastronomic traditions of sunny Morocco without leaving Moscow. Of course, Russian consumers are already familiar with some of the products exported, but we will offer exclusive products.”
The 20-year-old federal retail trade network Perekrestok is one of the first networks of urban supermarkets with as many as 451 trade outlets located in 108 cities across Russia, according to the company's official website.
