03 December 2015

According to Egypt's Minister of Industry and Trade Tarek Kabil, the country will be able to produce enough fruits and vegetables to fill the gap left in the Russian market after Turkish products are banned.

“Russian fruit and vegetable imports from Turkey accounted for 66 percent, followed by clothes and leather products,” he said.

The offer was directed to Russia's Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov. Egypt is now waiting for an official list of goods of the types of exports it may be able to supply in larger amounts to Russia.
