Abkhazia To Export 50,000 tonnes Of Mandarin Oranges To Russian Market Featured

Prime Minister of Abkhazia Arthur Mikvabia announced that Abkhazia is preparing to increase exports to Russia. In the future, the Russian market can expect to receive about 50 thousand tonnes of mandarin oranges which would be 20 percent more than exports to the Russian market in 2015.

“This year, I anticipate that we will supply 40 thousand of 50 thousand tonnes produced, but some is used for internal consumption. The next year, I think that we will supply 50 thousand tonnes,” he said.

In 2014, according to official statistics of customs statistics, Abkhazia exported 35 thousand tonnes of fruit.
