Iranian Official Discuss Expediting Exports With Green Lane At Russian Customs

26 January 2016

Discussions to establish a green lane in customs for Iranian food products took place last week between Mehdi Sanaei, ambassador of Iran in Russia, and officials in Moscow.

The objective would be to simplify procedures for Iranian products that are exported to the Russian market.

The agreement has to be received by the Federal Customs Union of Russia which is the organ responsible for all protocols and procedures for approving clearances for shipments.

“I really hope that such a green lane will be introduced,” the ambassador said.
