Russia To Iran: Ready To Increase Imports, But Don't Send Us Turkey's Featured

24 February 2016

Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs had sent an official report from Moscow last week to affirm the Kremlin’s intention to increase imports of Iranian products as well as underscore its stance that prohibited Turkish food products will not be permitted to enter the Russian market, said Zamir Kabulov, the Russian president’s special representative for Afghanistan and director of the Second Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The specialist also said that Iranian exporters are trying to increase their share of produce on the Russian market and that Turkish goods have already flooded the Asian country’s market with goods that are banned from entry into Russia.

“We have already warned them that we will not allow them (the Turkish products),” Kabulov said.
