One of the topics discussed was Moroccan fruits and vegetable exports to the Russian market. Putin said that he was surprised by the drop in Moroccan produce exports to the Russian market: "We have an excellent relationship with Morocco, but it's surprising that we are seeing a significant drop in trade turnover, including among several traditional articles of Moroccan products. I don't understand why supplies of Moroccan fruits, oranges and tomato supplies fell, especially when we have certain restrictions on similar products from countries of the European Union."
Mohammed VI responded by offering to discuss the matter with Morocco's Minister of Agriculture, who also arrived as a part of the delegation.
During the official visit, the King made a statement on deepening the kingdom's strategic partnership between the two countries. In addition, he signed a package of documents on cooperation in the field of investment development, counter-terrorism, the protection of classified information, transport, environment, tourism and the humanitarian sphere.
