Officers of the Ministry of Agriculture are managing the regional farming programs of the Russian Federation.
Growers in the Saratov Region, south of Moscow and along the Volga River, are to receive 17, 759, 000 rubles, or approximately $512,000. These funds are to be allocated to the creation of logistic centers and agricultural cooperatives.
In total, the adopted program is to provide 950 million rubles (about $27 million). The largest sum is to be allocated to the Amur Region – 376,813,000 rubles (about $11 million), the Vologda Region - 87,118,000 rubles (about $2.5 million), and 78.948 million rubles (about 2.3 million) to the Bryansk Region.
